New Study: Scientific foundations of fish-consumption advice for pregnant women: Epidemiological evidence, benefit-risk modeling, and an integrated approach

CIEA is excited that this paper was published and available for a wider conversation on the benefits and risks of fish consumption during pregnancy. It reviews four benefit-risk models and compares them with each other and with the epidemiological evidence; it concludes that the FDA and WHO/FAO models underestimate mercury impacts, probably by a wide margin.
